Chemical water purification
Chemical water treatment is considered one of the most effective, fast and productive. To achieve a 100% result, it is recommended to use additional cleaning methods: physical, mechanical, physicochemical and biological.
Most often, chemical methods for cleaning waste water are used for industrial purposes, for heat carriers, in swimming pools, pharmaceuticals, and for waste water.
In the process of obtaining demineralized water (desalination), four methods are used:
Evaporation
Ion exchange
Reverse osmosis
Electrodialysis
The main characteristic determining the validity of a particular method is the salt content of the feed water. The applicability limits of each method are illustrated in the figure.
Let's consider in more detail as a desalination step Foreign exchange:
Pretreatment and ion exchange filters are designed to remove cations and anions from the water stream.
The efficiency of desalination, reduction of specific reagent costs, and wastewater volume is achieved through the use of modern countercurrent ionization technology. Desalinated water after H- and OH-filters is fed to the final stage of mixed-action filters (FSD).
The pretreatment and ion exchange unit represents 2 purification lines for the source river water:
1. The pre-cleaning line consists of:
River water preheating unit;
The site is chemical. treatments (coagulation, flocculation);
Sump or clarifier;
Filtration area;
2. The desalination line of the source water consists of:
3 parallel counter-current N-cationic filters, (2 working, 1 backup for the washing period);
3 counter-current OH-anionite filters connected in parallel, (2 working, 1 backup for the washing period);
2 parallel filters of mixed action, (1 working, 1 backup for the washing period);
Nodes for the preparation and supply of regeneration solutions;
Pumping and blower equipment;
Process control systems.
The proposed water treatment technology is modern and reliable.
The use of countercurrent ionization technology on monodisperse resin is envisaged, which allows reducing the number of desalination stages to the 1st and reducing reagent consumption by approximately 25-30% compared with the traditional two-stage technology on polydisperse resin.
All of the above-mentioned technological main and auxiliary equipment and components are manufactured in Russia. Our company, as well as the subcontractors we have attracted for the supply of equipment and the execution of works, are completely localized in the Russian Federation and are independent of foreign suppliers.
Our company has all the necessary competencies and resources to perform a full range of works on design, construction and commissioning of a desalination plant. Under a separate contract, we offer to perform the following types of work:
- Design and survey work in full, preparation and delivery of all sections (stages P and RD) of design documentation to the Customer.
- Construction and installation works, installation and commissioning works, in accordance with all sections of the design and engineering documentation "turnkey".
